DEAN "DEANO" GILLEN

Dean “Deano” Gillen is the hard-hitting middleweight World Police & Fire Games 2013 amateur Gold champion, and now recently turned professional boxer under Carl Greaves, winner of WBF World title and twice challenger for the British super featherweight title.

No stranger to danger, the 32 year-old fireman-turned-boxer from Nottingham is fighting fit and ready to extinguish any doubters with his no-nonsense style of boxing.

As well as his 11 years working for the fire service, the Nottingham born boxer has dedicated many years to hard training in his quest to fulfil his ambition to turn professional. This discipline has served him well and now the fighting fireman has recently signed a contract with Carl Greaves Boxing Promotions and hopes to transfer his steely determination into the professional ring.
